- Fishing
- On November 18, 2021, Ministry of Production investigators found that nearly 21 percent of specimens collected were below the minimum size. This investigation came while authorities were conducting a wider audit of the Lotizacion Santa Elena de Paracas plant. The company had reported that only four percent of specimens were undersized. Authorities seized at least 22 US tons of anchoveta. This catch was returned to the company, however, after the Austral Group paid a fine.
- Between January 2020 and March 2025, this ship spent five or more hours fishing in Peru in a marine protected area, according to satellite data compiled by OceanMind. Fishing in these protected areas is typically illegal. Such incursions happened at least 2 times. The areas targeted included Paracas.
