- Fishing
- Between 2019 and 2024, the Claudia likely bottom trawled for 10,010 hours (417 days). Bottom trawling is a fishing tactic in which a vessel tows a net, often hundreds of feet wide, along the ocean floor. Bottom trawling is a particularly destructive form of fishing because of its bluntness: anything in the net's path–including non-target species, coral reefs, and dolphins–is swept up, often fatally.
- In June 2020, the Claudia, a vessel owned by Pesquera Exalmar, was fined under two articles of the Regulations of the General Fisheries Law the Ministry of Production for illegally fishing in the Paracas Marine Protected Area and for going too slowly inside a restricted area, a leading indicator of illegal fishing.

Claudia is related to at least 68 companies downstream, including one plant, 12 importers, eight farms, four mills, and 43 retailers.
