Health & Safety
On March 30, 2025, the PAM Cobra collided with the Bruma, a small fishing boat, near Biobío and Concepción area, which resulted in the disappearance and presumed death of Bruma's seven crew members. The Maritime Prosecutor's Office in Chile has permanently revoked the fishing master's license of Roberto Mansilla, the PAM Cobra's captain. The Prosecutor's Office planned to formalize charges against Blumar, which owned the PAM Cobra, as a legal entity, along with Captain Mansilla and three other crew members from the PAM Cobra, in March 2026, according to Sabes.

Cobra is related to at least seven companies downstream, including one plant, three importers, two farms, and one mill.
