- Fishing
- In June 2020, the Jadran II, was cited on several occasions for illegally fishing in the Paracas Marine Protected Area. The Jadran II was owned by Corporación Pesquera Inca, a CFG acquisition. The infractions were documented in legal reports by the Ministry of Production from May 2024, each of which noted that Corporación Pesquera Inca was fined for the violations.
- Between 2019 and 2024, the Jadran II likely bottom trawled for 5,101 hours (213 days). Bottom trawling is a fishing tactic in which a vessel tows a net, often hundreds of feet wide, along the ocean floor. Bottom trawling is a particularly destructive form of fishing because of its bluntness: anything in the net's path–including non-target species, coral reefs, and dolphins–is swept up, often fatally.
Supply Chain
Jadran II is related to at least 178 companies downstream, including one plant, 61 importers, four mills, five processors, five farms, and 102 retailers.
