- On November 25, 2020, during a control operation conducted by inspectors from the Ministry of Production, it was discovered that the Rosa Maria fishing vessel had unloaded 57.3 tons of anchoveta, exceeding the authorized catch limit by 0.92 percent, 0.51 tons, surpassing the three percent tolerance allowed for vessels with a hold capacity greater than 50 cubic meters, or about 1765 cubic feet. As a provisional measure, the authorities seized 0.51 tons of excess anchoveta, in line with the Reglamento de Fiscalización y Sanción de las Actividades Pesqueras y Acuícolas. The Corporación Pesquera Inca processing plant, which received the seized fish, paid the commercial value of the confiscated catch, amounting to 379.88 soles on November 26, 2020.
