On July 2, 2021, Tasa 45 was found, during an audit by inspectors from the Ministry of Production, to have presented incorrect information or documentation to the auditors resulting in discrepancies in the percentage of mackerel bycatch reported. The illegal catch was confiscated and the company was fined by final resolution of the Ministry of Production dated August 16, 2024.
